Parks, Playgrounds and Outdoor Rink
SKATEBOARD PARK
The skateboard park is centrally located in Lancaster Park on Range Rd 244 and Arras Ave. Anyone can use the skatepark provided that they are respectful of the rules and of other users.
SKATE PARK RULES
- Open 7:00 am to 11:00 pm seven days a week
- Skateboards, inline skates and BMX bikes only
- CSA approved helmet mandatory. Elbow pads, kneepads and wrist guards recommended
- Children under ten (10) years of age must be supervised by a responsible adult while using this Skate Park
- No pushing, shoving, rough housing, bullying and/or verbal harassment
- Users are not to have consumed any drugs and/or alcohol prior to use of the Skate Park. No drugs or alcohol permitted on the premises or in the vicinity of this Skate Park
- Non vulgar, non obscene graffiti is only welcome on the graffiti wall

WATER SPRAY PARK
The Water Spary Park is located next to the playground on Liri Valley Crescent, Lancaster Park, and is open for use from 8 am to 8 pm from mid June until mid September (weather permitting). The spray system operates on a timer to control the duration of water. Contact 973-4011 ext. 4653 for more information or to report a problem with this facility.

PLAYGROUNDS
There are 3 community playgrounds located in Lancaster Park. All have received a facelift and new equipment this past summer thanks to the efforts and contributions of CFB Edmonton, Sturgeon County, the Playground Guys, Questic Contracting, Community & Recreation Association and MQ Council:
- Triangle Park (Mons Ave & Arras Ave)
- Gopher Park (Liri Valley Cres)
- Crescent Park (San Fortunato Cres)

OUTDOOR RINK
The Lancaster Park Outdoor Rink is located just west of the Edmonton Garrison Twin Rinks on Mons Ave. The rink is typically open for community skating and shinney from mid December until mid to late March (weather permitting) from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (unless otherwise posted). The rink is managed through Fitness & Sports. Please report damages to 780.973.4011 ext 4327/4668 and report any suspicious activity to the Military Police at local 4044.
RULES OF USE
- rink is not supervised at all times - skate at your own risk
- do not use during warm weather (above 0 degrees Celsius) or directly after flooding has occurred as this ruins the ice surface
- protective gear is recommended if playing shinney
- participants shall respect the rules, facilities, staff/volunteers and other users or will be asked to leave
- foul language, horseplay and bullying will not be tolerated
- no drugs or alcohol are permitted on the premises or in the vicinity of the rink
