What Can Health Promotion Do For You?
The Health Promotion Team has been working hard since 2002 when the newly revised and invigorated Strengthening the Forces program was stood up. From the listing under Programs and Courses, you can see that there are a whole slew of options to choose from that can benefit your unit, your family or yourself. Each of the offered courses fits under one of 4 core areas that have been identified as contributing to the overall wellbeing of a person and therefore contributing to the operational readiness of the troops. Physical Activity/Injury Prevention, Nutritional Wellness, Social Wellness and Addicitions Free living make up the Strengthening the Forces arsenal of programming - and each of those can be tailored to meet the needs of your specific group - whether company, platoon unit or family/community group. As long as there is an affiliation to the military - regular or reserve force, civilian staff or family - we are here to support you. So if you are in need of a Professional Development topic - whether it's 30 minutes or 3 hours or 3 days - give us a call and we will be there to Strengthen the Forces.
We have many different topics and are willing to come to the unit lines and give you as much information as you can handle.
Warning: All of our briefings are information packed and entertaining. If you are not informed and/or entertained at the end of the session, we will give you your money back.
Note: All sessions are free.
